ACCREDITED SUPERVISOR
When things get out of focus, talking to a professional helps.
ABOUT ME

It all started with my interest in psychology and trying to understand (a) what makes people tick (b) allowing people to acknowledge why they act the way they do and (c) offering strategies to help. Once I completed my undergrad Bachelor of Psychology, it followed that my choice for post grad would be Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been fortunate to work with adolescents and families. This is, in itself an invigorating experience. Over the years we have all worked around emphasising the importance of good mental health. Speaking with young people gives us the opportunity to do just that.
My Work
HOW?
Personal counselling sessions are fully customised to meet the emotional and physical needs of clients. One on one empathic therapy offered in a safe environment where any issues may be discussed and analysed.

WHY?
Recognising the problem is the most important part of therapy. CBT allows us to do this, by understanding what is making us feel the way we do, and why. At times, motivational interview plays a vital part in this healing process.
HOW LONG?
Clients often ask how many sessions are required. This is often hard to gauge on the initial visit. However several people only need three or four sessions to enable them to recognise the issue; and then work on the strategies to improve their lives..
I can help with
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
- Trauma
- Adolescent Counselling
- Primary School Student Counselling
- I am an ACA Level 4 Accredited Counselling Supervisor for therapists in Australia. My supervision is provided online or in person. I currently facilitate individual and organisational supervision.
